Speaking of the universe,we cannot exclude that 8 planets and a dwarf planet revolves round a yellow medium-sized star called the sun.One of the planets is blue and that's the place where you may be.The neighbouring object nearest to the object is Moon or,as the Romans named it,Luna.Without Luna, what do you suppose would have happened. It's a lot more than you think.Without the Moon,we won't see the round object that crosses our sky at night..but not only that, the Moon causes the rise and fall of tides..therefore the water of the sea reaches the s .Not only those, but most importantly, the Moon causes the Earth's axis to have a 23and a half degree tilt..without which,It'd always be summer at the Equator and Winter at the poles, and the rotation of the Earth would not happen if the Moon was there!Know about that in my next post.. *

If moon werent there, there will be no tides, chances of us *it by asteroids increase, there will be no total solar eclipse and most importantly speed of rotation of earth increase dramatically so our days may be only 6hrs long the faster spinning of earth may produce high winds heavy storms etc *

Yeah, The inclination of the Earth's axis, which can range anywhere from 0 to 180 degrees would have been 90,causing there to be only summer at the equator, spring at the tropic of cancer and capricorn, and further north and south, total darkness and also the rest as you've defined already. *
